چکیده
To spatially characterize the palaeolakeshore environment at archaeological kill site Schöningen 13 II-4 of Middle Pleistocene Reinsdorf sequence, in-depth palynological, geochemical, aquatic microfossil and analyses were undertaken on sediment sections with an average thickness about 15 cm, concordantly overlain by faunal remains, dominated horse, from unique ‘Spear Horizon’ layers 1995 excavation campaign. The data reveal a distinctive lake level drop, documented change carbonate-rich marl to carbonate-free organic mud increased carbon content decreasing C/N, Si/Al, Si/K Fe/Al ratios, indicating higher pedogenic supply matter drier conditions site. Compared older, similar transitional phases changes occurring within it is important that these youngest sediments are undisturbed, continuous development. Ostracod diatom indicate lowering water salinities rich vegetation. Mesorheophilic ostracod species along tychoplanktic taxa point flowing waters turbulence lakeshore, presumably related spring-fed streams originating nearby highlands. Palynological results very diverse zonal vegetation pattern around considering area investigation approximately 50 × 75 m tessellated type regional during formation horizons. On topographically lower elevated areas, birch groves favouring wet, marshy such as Cyperaceae, indicative terrestrialization, predominating, while other stands this phase dry, grass-dominated steppe woodland wildlife striking number megaherbivores. Our suggest lithological differences containing finds due their respective topographical situation deposited almost simultaneously beginning drop. Human activities seem have concentrated in sparsely vegetated areas palaeolakeshore, rather than adjacent denser swamp forest stands.

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Taphonomic History of the Middle and Upper Palaeolithic Faunal Assemblage from Ortvale Klde, Georgian Republic
We present the results of a detailed taphonomic and zooarchaeological study of the faunal remains from the late Middle Palaeolithic (LMP) and early Upper Palaeolithic (EUP) bone assemblage of Ortvale Klde, Georgian Republic. A series of taphonomic tests and analyses are employed to reconstruct the depositional history of the bone assemblage and investigate LMP (Neanderthal) and EUP (Modern huma...

gol-e-gohar iron ore mine of sirjan in southern part of iran is a large open pit that operates below the groundwater table and during mining operation, dewatering is required to prevent operation processes from flooding. current operation is going on by digging wells in or out of the pit and pumping to prevent flooding. as a result of the former dewatering operation a vast deep cone of depressi...
Learning by Heart: Cultural Patterns in the Faunal Processing Sequence during the Middle Pleistocene
Social learning, as an information acquisition process, enables intergenerational transmission and the stabilisation of cultural forms, generating and sustaining behavioural traditions within human groups. Archaeologically, such social processes might become observable by identifying repetitions in the record that result from the execution of standardised actions. From a zooarchaeological persp...
